How I Work
Healing is not about fixing. It is about restoring connection to your body, creativity, parts, history, and capacity to choose how you want to live now.
I take a holistic, trauma-focused approach to healing, one that recognizes the many layers that shape who you are: your present experiences, your past, the stories carried by your ancestors, family dynamics, the spaces you move through, and your relationship with land, culture, and community.
My work integrates Art Therapy, Expressive Arts Therapy, Somatic Therapy, and an Internal Family Systems-informed approach within a de-colonial framework. In our sessions, we may weave together art-making, embodied awareness, and compassionate parts work in ways that respond to your unique nervous system and lived experience.
We prioritize safety, pacing, regulation, and consent, and move at the speed of trust.
-
Creative Therapy Art Therapy & Expressive Arts Therapy Creativity can offer a gentle pathway for regulation, expression, and reclaiming agency. -
Body Awareness Somatic Therapy The body becomes a guide for noticing sensation, building regulation, and moving gently. -
Parts Work IFS-Informed Approach Compassionate parts work can help protective patterns be met with curiosity instead of force. -
Cultural Context A De-colonial Lens Healing is held in context, including culture, migration, power, identity, and inherited stories.
