How I Work

A De-colonial Lens

Cultural Context
Identity
Reclamation

Healing is held in context, including culture, migration, power, identity, and inherited stories.

Healing Does Not Occur in Isolation

A de-colonial lens recognizes that trauma is shaped not only by individual events, but also by systems of power, migration, racialization, cultural displacement, gender norms, ableism, and intergenerational survival strategies.

Rather than locating the problem solely within you, we explore how larger systems have shaped your body, identity, and relational patterns. This perspective honors cultural memory, resilience, and identities that exist across or beyond dominant narratives.

Healing becomes not only symptom reduction, but reclamation of voice, story, body, and self-definition.
